Ashley Greene: Detox, Diet & Exercise Workout Plan

What is Ashley Greene doing to stay in excellent health and perfect body shape?

Diet Plan

Ashley Greene eats a very healthy diet and avoids following diet plans that involve starvation or “crash dieting”. She knows that to keep her body in the best shape for the TV shows and roles and movie parts, she needs to eat the foods that naturally keep her in shape.

Most of Ashley’s foods she tries to eat organic or as natural as possible. She detoxes herself of pesticides and other toxic residue on non-organic foods and prefers to simply choose healthy. She much prefers it in fact rather than having to be overly restrictive with her daily meals and diet plan.

Some of her favorite foods are known health foods like sushi which she adores. Sushi can be very healthy in small doses and is packed with vital nutrients as well as vitamins which keep the skin young and healthy.

Ashley Greene also likes to eat Whole Foods like eggs, chicken, tuna, lots of green leafy vegetables, sea vegetables as well as nuts, seeds and legumes.

On occasion Ashley will also enjoy a glass of red wine which, in small doses, can be very healthy for the body and is linked to lower risks of cardiovascular disease.

Workout Routine

When it comes to getting and staying in shape, for Ashley Greene it’s all about Pilates. Pilates is a FANTASTIC exercise that almost every woman should start doing in their lives. It is in some ways similar to Yoga yet also incorporates a lot of moves which strengthen the body and is generally a more intensive workout than Yoga. Usually incorporating a variety of different pieces of fitness equipment from Bosu balls to blocks.

Ashley also likes to do strength training exercises and is no stranger to the gym either. Squats keep her butt and legs tight and toned, rows, light bench are great for her upper body.

She also does martial arts! I know! Can you stop this girl? She finds doing martial arts to be a great full body workout routine and also makes her feel strong and powerful. Far more women than ever before are taking up martial arts for this reason. And as a side note, martial arts burns more fat than just about any other exercise you could compare it to.
