David Beckham

Plyometric Side Jumps:
Begin performing a series of plyometric side jumps by placing an exercise bar or wooden stick on the floor in beside you. Next, begin jumping quickly from side to side from right to left over the bar for a space of around two minutes making sure to keep the knees slightly bent. Continue for two minutes and if you’d like gradually work up to longer jump intervals.

Incorporate a Beckham side up routine:
From plyometric side jumps, move into a side up routine. Begin the side up workout by placing a steady footstool, workout bench or even level hard metal or wooden box in front of you. Then, carefully place your right foot against the side of the bench and jump to the left foot lightly touching the side of the box. Alternate on the ball of each foot for two to three minutes while focusing on tighten the lower abs.

These great abs workout starters are great for not only burning calories, but are also quite versatile and are easy to perform anywhere. However, these great abs routines are only a part of maintaining peak physical condition. These abs exercise starters need to be paired with maintaining a slim body, eating well by eating whole grains, fruits, lean proteins and a good cross section of vegetables. Be sure to mix up your abs routine by pairing in other sport training and exercises such as weight training paired with cardiovascular training such as stair climbing, running, biking or rowing.
