A lot of women have tried to use various creams and even electrical stimulation in a bid to regain their smooth body. Cellulite is a condition that is typically common in women, and, very often, attached to the hormone estrogen. During the release of estrogen into a woman’s body, there is fluid buildup in fatty tissues which often pushes through the muscle resulting in dimply skim.
There are several home therapies that have been used to try and get rid of the condition. Massage has also been used for the same purpose, but, however, has not lived up to expectation. The theory that has been placed to explain how massage helps get rid of cellulite is that a vigorous massage often helps in increasing blood circulation. With an increased circulation, the removal of toxins and the reduction of excessive amounts of fluid in areas that hold cellulite are enhanced.
The massage is however not a very efficient method as the results are always short lived. This is due to the fact that during the massage, the fat cells are temporarily compressed. The effect therefore does not last long after that.
The massage treatments of cellulite vary depending on the method that is used. There is the use of herbal extracts. These extracts are applied to the skin through a massage. Seaweed products are also applied to the affected area using the same method. The massage is done manually using the hands and the fingers. There are however certain cases that mechanical massage is required.
The endermoloie is a massage therapy in which a hand held device that has been designed to help by kneading the skin in between rollers is used. The result that you see thereafter does not last long after the massage. As time moves by, the cellulite begins to re-appear gradually. It has been proven that there is no amount of massage that is able to permanently get rid of cellulite.
The in-effectiveness of a massage in the treatment of cellulite is associated with how it solves the problem. The massage compresses the fat cells that are beneath the skin. In the compression, they assume the shape and position that they cast into. You should be keen to note that the fat is not gotten rid of. As time moves by, the fat begins to assume a new shape. This in turn reflects on the skin overlying the fat. You will therefore see the cellulite back within a short period of time. This makes the process very ineffective and may also be expensive as you will have to re-do the procedure every so often.
