Flax Oil for Detox


Flax Oil & Cottage Cheese

Every morning I mix my cottage cheese (2%) and my Barlean’s Flax Oil and end up with a delicious creamy topping for my fruit: bananas, blueberries, strawberries, you name it. I know it sounds like a strange combination and somewhat fattening but when you understand the science behind it you will be running to the store.

Some years ago when a close friend became ill, she asked me to find a natural way to deal with her health challenge. My mind started to work and I discovered a simple system for cancer treatment that could be done at home. As a scientist I was fascinated with how it worked. When you mix a sulfur based protein, like cottage cheese, with organic fresh flax oil, the end product is a creamy mix that contains water based oil. In other words, the chemical reaction causes the oil to become water soluble and hence the body cells can easily absorb it via capillary action.

Why it this important? The flax oil is used by the body cells as a gate opener. The water based oil breaks the fat coating on the cell walls and lets oxygen and nutrients in. The theory behind it suggests that cells that are malfunctioning, cancer cells do this, have blocked walls. As I investigated this system for treating health challenges, it was not limited to cancer. Heart issues and arthritis and many other diseases respond to it, I saw a scientifically proven food combination that may unlock the key to most of the health challenges we face. Bottom line, if the cells don’t work, the body is in big trouble.

With a success rate of over 90% for the Doctor who invented the protocol, you had to step back and take notice. Dr. Johanna Budwig, one of the greatest scientists of the 20th Century, lived in Germany from 1908 – 2003. She was a pharmacist and held doctorate degrees in chemistry and physics. Her story will someday be reported in proper fashion but for those who are walking on this dear earth, cured by her techniques, the story has already been told. How sad, that a women, from Germany, who demonstrated beyond any doubt that cancer could be cured, was ignored by the medical world and only a few who know about her, take advantage of her brilliant contribution to medicine.

“I have the answer to cancer, but American doctors won’t listen. They come here and observe my methods and are impressed. Then they want to make a special deal so they can take it home and make a lot of money. I won’t do it, so I’m blackballed in every country.” Dr. Johanna Budwig

Let’s go back to the beginning and see how this all came about. First let me say, I have personally met and spoken with large numbers of people who were cured using Dr. Budwig’s protocol, and many had cancer. The cure rate today is around 50%, much lower than Dr. Budwig’s 90%, but when you consider the level of contaminants today vs the 1950’s, you can see why.

Dr. Budwig was the chief scientist for the German Federal Health Department in 1952, in the area of fats and pharmaceuticals. As impossible as it may seem, she and other great scientists of her time discovered that all cancer victims have as a common denominator the inability to assimilate fat. She was the first person to differentiate between saturated and unsaturated fats. She discovered that healthy unsaturated fats where rich in electrons and had substances in them not found in bad fats, such as pork fat. When Quark or cottage cheese was added to these rich seed oils, these linoleic oils, the oils became water soluble. The electrons found in these rich and healthy fats enable them to be surface active and this is what allows the capillary action to move the fats where they need to be. These electron rich foods – good fats and certain teas mentioned earlier are a key to health. Remember in the chapter on Herbal teas where I was referring to electron rich foods, I said:

“In a later chapter I will prove this to you by setting up an experiment which you can do at home. When you go into the sun after taking in certain foods you will experience a sensation that will be mind blowing. Your body will feel so light, it will be as if you are walking on air. It has happened to me and others who have used this nutritional technique.”

Well I am going to show you how to do this and it has to do with the flax oil- cottage cheese combination. I will show you how to prepare this healthy food. Let’s look at what Dr. Budwig has to say about this subject:

“I often take very sick cancer patients away from hospital where they are said to have only a few days left to live, or perhaps only a few hours. This is mostly accompanied by very good results. The very first thing which these patients and their families tell me is that, in the hospital, it was said they they could no longer urinate or produce bowel movements. They suffered from dry coughing without being able to bring up any mucous. Everything was blocked. It greatly encourages them when suddenly, in all these symptoms, the surface-active fats with their wealth of electrons, start reactivating the vital functions and the patient immediately begins to feel better. It is very interesting to ask how this sudden change is possible. It has to do with the reaction patterns, with the character of electrons.” (I will provide links to her books so you can read it all)

In an interview Dr. Budwig states: “During my research I found that the blood of seriously ill cancer patients had deficiency of unsaturated essential fats. I also noticed that cancer patients had a strange greenish-yellow substance in their blood which is not present in the blood of healthy people. I wanted to develop a healing program for cancer. So I decided to straight way go for human trails and enrolled 600 patients from four big hospitals in Munster (Germany). I started to give flax oil and cottage cheese to the cancer patients.

After just three months, patients began to improve in health and strength, the yellow green substance in their blood began to disappear, tumors gradually receded…I treated approximately 2500 cancer patients during last few decades. Prof. Halme of surgery clinic in Helsinki used to keep records of my patients. According to him my success was over 90%…”

It is extremely important to mention two things regarding the Budwig flax oil- cottage cheese diet: First and foremost, everyone should use flax oil daily and mix it with cottage cheese. I will show you how. Secondly, this has nothing to do with illness. This product-food has so many benefits on so many levels that it should be eaten every day. In fact, when you see what it does to your skin you will jump for joy.

The Budwig approach to health and well being goes way beyond flax oil. She has developed an entire protocol consisting of foods to eat and how to prepare them. It is a vegetarian approach but modified to allow some fish at times. I will provide a link to her recipe book. Basically it calls for the removal of processed foods, sugar, sweets, bad fats. She allows some wine in the afternoon as it helps build the blood.

In the chapter on Herbal Teas I spoke about electrons and the sun. Dr. Budwig had her patients get 1-2 hours of sun each day. In her book she states:

“The electrons in our food serve as the resonance system for the sun’s energy. The electrons in our food are truly the element of life. Their electro-magnetic field attracts the photons in sunlight. These photons with their own vitality and continual movement, without which the physicist cannot imagine life existing, these photons, which are in resonance with the electrons in seed oils, are focused on the same wavelength as the sun’s energy, serve the life element. This interplay of solar energy photons and the electrons in seed oils, which are focused to the very last quantum on solar energy photons, governs all the vital functions. Fats are the dominant factor for all the vital functions…

The electrons of highly unsaturated fats from seed oils, which lie on the same wavelength as sunlight, are capable of drawing solar energy and storing it, then, upon demand, of activating it as the purest energy of the dematerialized clouds of electrons, and making it available for the vital functions.”

She goes on to say that all the body organs are dependent upon these electrons. When asked about people working too hard and not having the energy needed to work, she explained how a lack of electron rich oils weighs us down, we feel heavy. The rich flax oil and cottage cheese mix pumps electrons into our cells and then the sun resonates with us, giving us that light feeling, which you will experience. When you do a whole new world will open before your eyes.

Those that criticize Dr, Budwig and state that flax oil cannot kill cancer cells have a complete misunderstanding of what she is saying. The electron rich seed oils, like flax, allow the cell walls to open so oxygen and nutrients can enter and heal the cancer cells. The sun then picks up the electrons and provides a type of light (light as in weighing little) energy that almost feels like we are floating on air.

Let’s get this experiment under way. First we need to look at flax oil and cottage cheese. I believe that Barlean’s, located in Ferndale, Washington makes the best flax oil.

It can be found in most stores but I am always concerned with how long it has been there. Flax oil must be refrigerated so never buy any off the shelf. For many years I have purchased my Barleans’ Flax Oil from Allen’s Health Club:

Sadly, Allen is no longer with us and I miss him very much. He always had time to discuss health issues and when you purchased product for a cancer patient he gave a discount off the already lowest product prices to be found anywhere. His granddaughter runs the web site now. For best results order online. Leaving a phone message may delay the process. I always order 4 bottles at a time, usually the 16 oz ones.

What’s so nice about doing business with Allen’s is the fact that the oil is shipped directly from the factory and is usually no more than one week old. Once you get the oil, store the unused bottles in the freezer. When needed place one in the frig and in one day it will be ready for use. Keep the opened bottle in the refrigerator. Flax oil will last for 6

months in the refrigerator and one year frozen. Please note that flax seeds, once they are ground, need to be eaten immediately. The Budwig Program call for the use of flax seeds along with the flax oil.

Cottage cheese should be organic, if available, and must have fat in it. So 1 or 2 % fat content is desired. Fat free and above 2% will not work. If you cannot get organic product I like to use Knudsens 2%. I look for sales and buy lots of cottage cheese.

In order to mix the flax oil and cottage cheese you will need an immersion blender. Walmart and Amazon have good ones for $20. Buy one that comes with a mixing bowl. Do not use a standard blender or mixer, it must be an immersion mixer like the one pictured below:

When it comes time to mix the cottage cheese and flax I use two tablespoons of flax oil. A maintenance dose is one tablespoon but I like to use two. For the very ill much larger doses are required and explained in the books I will reference. The ratio is 2 parts cottage cheese to 1 part flax oil. So I take 4 level tablespoons of cottage cheese and place it in the mixing bowl and then two level tablespoons of flax oil. I shake the bottle before using it.

It’s important to thoroughly mix the oil with the cottage cheese. I use an up and down motion for about 30 seconds until the mix looks very creamy. Do not mix for more than 60 seconds. Once mixed I remove the immersion blender and unplug it. Then I scoop out any residue on the blade. Next I add a very small amount of soy or almond milk to make the mix more creamy, at most 1-2 tablespoons. I also add some honey or pure maple syrup for taste. Then I hand mix in the milk and syrup and then pour it out into my eating bowl. I add fruit: blueberries, strawberries, bananas, etc…

I always eat this first thing in the morning. Now here comes the fun part. After eating your delicious creamy mix (by the way kids love it and so do dads), go out into the sun and expose yourself. Stay out for at least 20-30 minutes if you can, and see what happens. Now I cannot guarantee anything but you should feel light and airy. It is very noticeable. If it does not happen the first day, keep trying, you will feel it.

You will be amazed when you experience this and your faith in Dr. Budwig will reach new heights. Who would think that fats can do such good. Dr. Budwig has a book where she explains how to prepare and use the flax oil cottage cheese mix and it has great recipes. Proper diet is just as important as the oil mix.

It should be noted, and this is very important to the topic at hand, that flax seeds contain lignans (substances that have a positive affect on hormone problems and combat bacteria, fungi and viruses – cold sores and shingles). The flax seed oil sold by Allen’s Health club is the lignan rich type. However, Dr. Budwig recommended that you also use fresh flax seeds and grind them up with a nut or mill grinder and put them immediately (they go bad in 20 minutes) on your food or cereal. The oil itself has little lignan left in it. Grinding the seeds is important, so the entire benefit of flax is obtained.

Because flax seeds and flax seed oil are rich in omega-3 and omega-6, two of the most essential fatty acids, the list of health benefits besides those mentioned earlier are enormous:

  • Lowers cholesterol – helps prevent heart disease and high blood pressure
  • Limits the inflammation associated with gout, lupus and fibrocystic breasts
  • Controls constipation, hemorrhoids, gallstones and diverticulitis
  • Treats acne, eczema, psoriasis and rosacea
  • Limits nerve damage
  • Reduces aging affects
  • Treats menopausal symptoms, menstrual cramps, female infertility and endometriosis
  • Helps with prostate issues, male infertility and impotence

There are many benefits to using flax seed and its oil. It will produce fuller and richer bowel movements, your appetite will increase (poor appetite is a sign of poor health), you will appear younger and wrinkles will fade, and so much more. Thanks to Dr. Budwig, we now know what types of oils are good for us, and the best way to take advantage of them.
