Our liver acts to filter our blood from toxins which we accidentally or inadvertently ingest from our living environments. It also screens viruses, and bacteria and detoxifies alcohol and certain drugs, thus ensuring the proper functioning of our body’s immune system.
This flush plus cleanse comprise apple juice (or cranberry), olive oil, Epsom salts and lemons which work synergistically to give our liver a boost and helps gallstones pass more smoothly.
Apple juice with its malic acid is known to soften the gallstones. Epsom salts relaxes the bile ducts, letting gallstones pass more easily. The olive oil helps the gallbladder to contract, while the dash of lemon juice helps cut the oil, which some people find difficult to sallow.
Urine is the remnant of resin taken and used in the body. Its normal color is, nearly, transparent. The quantity and interval of urine is important in terms of medical perspective; however, just by looking at its color, one can tell much more than it is thought. In view of oriental medicine, when the evacuation is not properly powerful and there remains some feeling of residual urine, then the ‘yang-ki’ of abdomen is weak. Moreover, when the interval is too short and its color is yellowy, fairly high chances are that the moist heat in the bladder or liver gets stagnated.
When feeling pain during urination, it may be some kind of an inflammation; when the urine is browny or reddish, it is hematuria; when mixed with white sediment, it is nebulous urine; when the sediment is like the sand, it is stony urine.
When it is foamy, it shows the signs of weakened bladder or feeble ‘ki’. Although, there are some urinal disorders like above which are visible with the naked eye, they are just some of the exceptions; occult blood reaction can’t be seen. Therefore, it is crucial to get urinalysis test on regular basis.
