Start eating more raw food, especially greens and watch your flexibility increase overnight, stiffness and pain fade from your body, especially your joints and your face start to glow. It’s the easiest, most effective thing you can do to accelerate regeneration.
Living plants contain the energy of the sun. These are the foods that can purify, heal and cleanse your body of leftover wastes. Raw and living foods and juices are filled with all of the vital essence of nature, providing you with antioxidants, vital nutrients, enzymes and oxygen. They will lift you up and help restore you to radiant health.
The juice extracted from green vegetables, sprouts, and cerial grasses contains the greatest abundance of chlorophyll available on the planet. Chlorophyll is sunlight that has been transmuted through a natural alchemical process into an edible form. In alchemical terms, it has become the blood of the plant, the vital fluid that is extracted through juicing. When you start consuming greens blended or juiced, the blood within the body becomes super-charged with the life-giving powers of the sun.
Chlorophyll helps remove heavy metals from the body which can hinder the growth of the good bacteria in the intestines. It also contain vitamins, minerals and enzymes, it helps build the immune system, improves the digestive system, improves energy levels and normalizes blood sugar and blood pressure levels.
Greens are packed with nutrients, especially vitamin C, vitamin B6, calcium, iron, zinc, folate, lutein, beta carotene, chlorophyll and protein. Yes, protein. Greens contain a large percentage of calories as protein.
For example, broccoli and spinach are around 50% protein. Kale is 27% protein. A pound of kale, for example, supplies above the recommended daily allowance for many of the essential amino acids, the building blocks of protein, and close to the RDA for many others. All of this nutrition is neatly packed into roughly 225 calories.
When greens are blended the nutrients locked in the cell walls are released, thus making them more nutritious for you. Apparently a lot of the nutrition is locked in the cell walls and, due to the fibrous nature of the walls, chewing does not do a very efficient job of breaking them all down and releasing the nutrients. Blending the greens releases a lot more of the nutrition.
Start slowly if this is new for you. Start by making a recipe without the greens and add a small handful of spinach the first day. You’ll notice that the smoothie tastes delicious and you can’t taste the spinach at all. Slowly work your way up until greens make up between 40 and 60% of the smoothie.
Experiment with the receipes here and try your own. You’ll be surprised at how much you like green smoothies and happy about how much more energetic you feel when you drink them.
Ideally, work up to having a 32 ounce green smoothie to start your day and then a blended green soup as part of your dinner.
Once you get in the habit, consuming lots of greens becomes easy, especially when you blend them.

Green Smoothie Recipes
1 large ruby grapefruit
1 small ripe banana
Handfull of soaked and peeled almonds (optional) soak overnight
A Handfull of green leafy stuff, spinach is good to start as it has a neutral taste.
½ cup water or coconut water
Mix up your greens, whatever is freshest. Change them up though for variety and in the name of experimentation
1 cup water or coconut water
2-3 large leaves of kale
3 dried apricots
Blend to smooth and drink straight away.
