Healing Spices

Indonesia grows a large variety of herbs and spices known for their medicinal and healing properties. From the ancient Indonesian Jamu tradition to modern day usages, spices like ginger and tumeric combined with piperine (for increased absorption), are incredible for their health-giving and healing properties.

    I’m really getting into healing spices and understanding how herbs and other nutrition can help. Like tumeric is amazing! Gotu Kola too!

    I can agree that the Jamu (local Indonesian herbalists) create some very powerrful concoctions to heal and reduce symptoms of just about anything. Would like to learn more about how this can be done and are there classes for making juices and cooking on the retreat?
