Mariah Carey: Diet, Weight Loss & Exercise Plan

As many can likely remember, Mariah Carey became overweight after she was pregnant and had a baby back in 2011. Now in 2019 what is her diet plan, workout routine, and how does she detox?

Diet Plan

To lose weight Mariah Carey’s diet plan had her cut calories down to as low as 1200 calories per day, yet then increased them to around 1500 soon after. With 1500 calories per day Mariah continued to lose weight while not pushing her body too far.

  • For Breakfast – Bread, two egg omelet, fruits
  • For Lunch – High protein chicken or steak, sometimes fish,
  • For Dinner – Swordfish, spinach, other vegetables
  • As Snacks – Raw vegetables smoothies, fruit

Within a year of working out, dieting and detoxifying, Mariah Carey lost 35 pounds of fat and water weight that she had put on while pregnant. She kept her big bum and nice curves yet lost the fat on her belly, face, arms and legs while improving her health.

Workout Routine

Mariah Carey had to get into a consistent exercises after giving birth to her twin babies, Moroccan and Monroe in April 2011.

To lose the weight Mariah had to consistently stick to her workout plan of walking for over an hour, two to four times per week. As well as a number of other exercises like water aerobics, and other aerobic exercises.

Weight Loss Surgery

After Mariah Carey split up with then billionaire boyfriend James Packer, her weight began to climb again rapidly. Yet with the help of a top Beverly Hills surgeon she did a secret gastric sleeve weight loss surgery and lost weight and looked amazing very soon after.

As you can see from the photo of Mariah Carey above after her weight loss surgery, she completely slimmed down. Her waist is slim and she lost almost all her weight from the gastric sleeve operation.
