Neuromodulation Technique and the Autonomic System

Neuromodulation technique and the autonomic nervous system are closely linked. The approach is also referred to as the Feinberg Method. This unusual form of alternative medicine heals though neurophysiological approaches that involve correcting problems in the autonomic nervous system. Dysfunction in this system may be the source of many musculo-skeletal conditions and illnesses.

Autonomic Nervous System

The autonomic nervous system is responsible for regulating the central nervous. The system is activated when changes in the environment require the body to adapt. The autonomic nervous system helps regulates:

  • Blood pressure
  • Size of blood vessels
  • Electrical impulses in the heart
  • The diameter of bronchium
  • Digestion
  • Salivation
  • Insulin secretion
  • Urinary functioning
  • Sexual functioning

Dysfunction in the autonomic nervous system has a profound effect on the body and its vital systems. Neuromodulation technique seeks to correct problems in this region, promoting health and wellbeing.

What is Neurolmodulation Technique?

The technique is a form of alternative medicine that works like a system of care focusing on the autonomic system. The approach is unusual in that the process involves a series of tests that use questions and statements. The patient is given semantic statements and questions, and nonverbal communication is used as well.

The patient’s physical responses to the questions, statements and nonverbal cues are measured with a muscle response-testing unit. After this, the testing proceeds to commands, both verbal and nonverbal. The process tests and measures:

  • Muscle responses
  • Breathing patterns
  • Segments of the vertebrae
  • Sensory processing
  • Reflex points

The muscle response testing assesses the functioning of the autonomic nervous system. The approach incorporates various principals associated with:

  • Physiology
  • Psychology
  • Linguistics
  • Neurophysiology
  • Anatomy

The approach appears to recognize the motor theory of language. The motor theory suggests that all language stems from primitive movements, and the autonomic nervous system is a significant, yet often unrecognized, aspect of speech and language development and use.

Conditions Treated

Neuromodulation technique is used to treat nearly every condition associated with problems with the autonomic nervous system. The remarkable effect appears to occur without any invasive intervention, just the systematic sequencing of semantic language processing. Conditions treated include but are not limited to:

The relatively new approach was introduced in 2002, and it has been used to treat many conditions. Currently, studies concerning autism and related pervasive developmental disorders are being conducted in this innovative technique.

The Neuromodulation technique looks at the nervous system as a “biocomputer” that occasionally experiences data processing problems. The technique seeks to take the bugs out of the biocomputer, allowing it to function normally.
