It includes the scientific inquiry of exercise and physical activity as it relates to and affects human movement and performance across the spectrum of populations in various settings.  Students are prepared as educators of health and fitness to enable them to impart their knowledge to other individuals, groups or communities.  They are devoted to optimizing and improving the quality of life of others to achieve personal and social health.
