Rachel McAdams: Diet, Detox & Exercise Workout Routine

Rachel McAdams looks great, right! And in her forties now how does Rachel stay in phenomenal shape year round? What’s her secret, what’s her plan?

Diet Plan

Rachel McAdams keeps in shape with a diet plan which is not overly restrictive but rather focuses on healthy choices.

Rachel’s personal trainer, Owen, likes all his clients to be eating foods on moderation yet does not cut out foods like red meat… or even red wine!

In fact many of the studies claiming that red meat is bad has been shown to only relate to red-proceeded-meats. Many nutritionists believe that healthy lean sources of red meat are actually very healthy for the body.

Red wine too is definitely healthy in moderation as has been shown in many studies relating to it. It has a powerful antioxidant called Resveratrol that is fantastic for you!

Another reason why Rachel McAdams can keep in such fantastic shape year round is because she uses intermittent fasting or IF. This is usually setup with an 8-hour eating window. Which means you can eat almost anything for 8-hours of the day. With a 16-hours full fast.

The intermittent fasting plan that Rachel McAdams follows also includes cheat days where she is not fasting and can eat whatever she likes. This is what allows her to stick to this diet plan all year round without falling off and having to start over.

Workout Routine

Rachel McAdams’ workout plan includes HIIT workouts. This stands for high intensity interval training and is done for short durations, yet the workouts are very intensive and burn a lot of fat.

The thing that makes HIIT workouts so effective is that they not only burn fat while doing the exercises. Yet also for many hours afterwards the body is losing weight at an accelerated rate, a type of “after burn” which helps for weight loss.

Between workouts Rachel stays very active and is very fluid with what she does. She knows that she enjoys to move and keep active and so is not too hard on herself. Instead she tries to simply get out doors as much as possible and also for a while there was hitting her workouts every morning start 4am.

So no problems in the exercise department for Rachel McAdams!
