Salma Hayek is an “over eater”? Really?! Yep, that’s right Salma Hayek is a self-confessed over eater yet has a plan that keeps her in the perfect Hollywood shape all the same.

Everyone loves how Salma Hayek looks. She has got such an ideal Hollywood body and keeps herself in shape by following a strict regiment with herself.

You see the thing about Salma, is that she can be a bit of a “stress eater”. When the Hollywood pressure is on many celebrities need to find ways to de-stress. And the worst one for them is when they turn to food to relax them.

Binge eating and emotional eating is not good for any woman, let alone one that relies on her beautiful body to get booked for movie parts.

That’s why Salma Hayek has a solution for her weight gain and a very simple “trigger” to tell her when she needs to get back on the bandwagon and lose some weight.

It’s very simple. Salma Hayek has an “alarm number”. What this does is tells her that when she gets to a certain weight then she starts exercising and working out diligently to burn away the excess weight.

While she has never revealed that “magic number” that signals for her to start another round of her weight loss diet plan, it does certainly work!

Salma Hayek has managed to keep her body in shape — despite LOVING FOOD. She calls it her “weakness” and says “everybody has one”. Hers is food and she eats it too much and it ends up adding fat to all the wrong places.

Fortunately for Salma she has a very healthy side too. She really loves apples, oranges, and carrots. She makes them into juices and follows a bit of a juice detox diet plan on a very regular basis.

She finds this good for detoxing the body while also giving her the energy she needs to perform as a top movie actress celebrity.

So to summarize, this is Salma Hayek’s secret:

  • She has a weight number set in pounds and when she reaches it, she immediately starts a weight loss diet plan.
  • While she does love food and admits to overindulging at times, she knows it and has set up a routine to make sure she can always shake the weight.
  • She juice cleanses and focuses on detoxing her body when she has too much weight, and that has always worked to return her to the right weight.

Workout Routine

Salma Hayek loves to exercise and workout. She rarely misses a workout session and follows an exercise routine which keeps her body in good shape. Even when she is eating too much delicious food!

One of the things she likes to do is kickboxing. Martial arts training has become far more popular nowadays with women and is definitely not just for men! Salma does her kickboxing training, she also does regular strength training in the gym, as well as going to Pilates class.

By sticking to a consistent workout plan Salma Hayek manages to control her weight, despite being an self-confessed “over eater”.
